road of life

One thing strike into my mind today.

I know many have already thought about it, but just somehow came into my mind this morning.

Our life is like a road, the road that our parents build for us. At the beginning, our parents will assist us because we are not capable to walk it on our own. Each road will not have the same distance, some might found themselves reaching the end very early, some might found themselves still no where near the end even after years and years of walking. Some might get a road block out of a sudden and been directly sent to the ending point. But we will meet many peoples along the way.

Then someday, our parents will leave us alone and let us walk our own road by ourselves while they continue walking theirs. The road we are walking will never be a straight one as it has many junctions, turnings or round about whereby other peoples' road will come in and connect with ours. But there will never be any U-turn on our road. Some will prefer driving a car instead of walking. But those who chose to walk will see more things than those who are driving as they see things clearly while the one who drive will missed out many things along the way.

Along the way, sometimes we will met someone who wants us to carry them and walk both ours and their road at the same time. We might be suffering at that time, but we learn more than those who we carried. Sometimes, we might do the same as well but we should have know when to walk our own road as only us can determine what is there that waiting for us at the end of the road.

Some roads will stick with ours along the way until they or ourselves decided to walk the road on our own. While we were walking along the way, sometimes we will met someone that only wants us to accompany them and walk to a certain point before separating. Some will wants us to be the small roads beside their main road until the end. These could be our small roads beside our main road as well.

This road is very long and we need to put in lot of efforts and hard work in order to complete this journey. Some will choose to give up half way, some will choose to get help from the small roads, some will choose to continue walking with anything they have. Some will kept complaining while walking and always think bumpy road is what they will get for whole journey. Some will kept looking forward for smooth road even though they are walking on bumpy road. For those who kept complaining about their road, will never walk on smooth road unless they stop complaining and continue walking with full of belief that smooth road is just in front of them.

Until one point, there will be someone who wants to walk their road side by side with us until the end. Some might met this person very early, some might take some times, some might even didnt have the chance meet this person and left no choice but to walk the road all by themselves. It is not easy as when we found this person, we will need to build new roads somewhere along the way.

We will never know what is in front of us and what will be the ending like. The main thing is, when we reach the end of our road and look back. We shall not regret and should feel proud, grateful with what we have done along the way.

Remember, live as if you will die tomorrow and learn as if you will live forever. =)
