Another week, another Deli operation. This time is my group to do the service. We set our theme as Hawaii Beach or something like that but didnt really turn out that way. As what Mr. Teddy(our lecturer) said, this time we are going to simplifies everything from food to deco...
previously our seniors did at least 7 or 8 dishes but due to our number of members in a group which is 5 only...we only serve 5 dishes plus 1 extra dessert made by chef Zanariah.
part of the simple deco in Deli...
and our Menu of the day are..
Minestrone Soup
Shawarma Pita Bread
Pasta Carbonara with either beef bacon, turkey ham or vegetrarian
Curry Chicken Puff
Blueberry Cheesecake
and Chocolate Cake (the extra)
Service started 12pm where over 10 lecturers reserved to have lunch at Deli in order to bid farewell for Ms. Hadayat. But no confirmation on the table arrangement nor time they are coming, so end up we messed up table arrangement in the Deli and cause a slight confusion on both service and kitchen side. The customers are more than the previous 1 where we have 2 tables of 10 and several groups with minimum 4 pax per table. So beside busy, its still busy...
with the minimum space in the Deli and the corridor, we have to be very 'flexible' and fortunate enough we managed to overcome all the difficulties on that day. Good job guys!!!
This is my group after service..Jin still counting money
eh...why JJ and Jin's costume looks so familiar, where did I seen that before?? ahem ahem~
after service, what else?? lunch time!!!
but due to the number of customers we have, most of the food are Item 86(term for sold out in this industry)
this is what we have...
makan time!!!
but something bothering us for these 2 operations which is our lecturer did not communicate with each other well...3 of them all telling us different stories which is very confusing and frustrated for us who are in the middle. But guess that is what we have to deal with for the remaining operations...

On Saturday, I've watched a movie with the title Love In The Time Of Cholera. It is based on a famous Spanish novel written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It is about a 50 years love story between 3 persons set in the late 19th century and the early 20th century. A guy who waited his love one for more than 50 years until her husband passed away. I would say it is a quite boring movie more most of us but I found it interesting at the same time.
With the tag line "how long can you wait for love?". It certainly a very challenging for most of us who could not wait that long and eventually give up. But this guy did it and the reward?? watch it yourself. Anyway, you cant find this movie in Malaysia's cinema..so roughly you guys should know how did I get to watch it..
the trailer of Love In The Time Of Cholera
cheers everyone...
I believe in miracle~
