yesterday was the day where almost every Chinese family will perform open burning activities near their house or on the road side.
yes, it is the day where the 'door' open and let our kawan-kawan come out to take a walk. It is something like the only day off for those guard in one whole year, so everyone are free to go out and meet up with their family and friends.
those food they place on the road side, are for those who got no family and friends. It is to settle them down so they wont disturb others.
still remember many years ago in this day, I am really freak out after 7pm...as what we've been told, dont go out after 7pm on this day. But not now...
as we can see in Chinese culture, whatever we do...we burn!!!
mom told us not to play with fire, but adult just like fire so much...maybe that is how they get back the fun of fire that they couldn't get when they were young.
whatever it is, it polluted the world...I think Mother Earth dont like us.
anyway, just want to know....did Chinese in China carry on this activities yesterday?? They are having this clean air for Olympic right?? hmmmm....
