from off day to off day.....

It has been 1 week since I've become lobby ambassador...find it quite challenging actually, especially when I have to encourage myself to talk to guest..

somehow it turns up positively...got some friends already, very happy when they address me by name...too bad I dont know their name but just Sir and Ma'am...they dont really mind I guess...

alright...back to Joanna's visit..errm..on last week??

errr..nvm..when is not the matter..the main point is FOOD!!!!

we went to Tanjung Bungah to have dinner...

Fried Oyster....or "O-Jien" (I guess non of the local dont know this dish right??)

followed by Bak Kut Teh..or "meat bone tea" (haha, finally have the chance to taste pork once again..)

and she force me to take pic with her...since she will be going to India soon, so I give her face lo..lol!!! (just joking la....I know she wont mind)

then on my off day last week....I took a bus to Maybank and wanted to withdraw my money, but been told that I need the account book and withdraw manually before can do it on ATM...so without account book, end up getting nothing and I went to Gurney Plaza to take a walk~

a time on my own....woohooo!!!!

CNY coming...Prosperity Burger is the choice!!!! "McD I love you!!!!!!"

then I walk the whole damn Gurney Plaza from floor to floor in only 30 mins...due to it is Monday, so got nothing to see

**thing = girls...nothing to see means nothing for me to wash eyes~

dont tell me that in resort got bikinis...but come on, city girls got different feel lah...(only guys can understand gua...)

after that, got my McD sundae cone and start walking to Island Plaza (can see that from Gurney Plaza)

while on the way, saw this....11KM back to home??!!!!!

took me 15minutes to reach Island Plaza..

actually wanted to buy United Mag at Island Plaza..but somehow they sold out and ended up buying Shin Chew Daily~ lame right???

since I have one whole day to spend...so I decided to walk back as far as I could...

while walking cluelessly...I found this!!! Bee Chan Xiang, famous Bak Kua from Singapore!!!! (remember the Singapore's movie, I'm not Stupid??)

wow, CNY on the way..must buy~

after about 25 minutes walk...I saw another bus station, so I decided to stay there and wait for the bus...

when someone is boring and really got nothing to do, this is not a bad idea to waste up your time...despite everyday I have to stand atleast 7 hours, I dont really know what makes me walk for almost 1 hour beside my boringness and the crazy cells inside my brain...

reach home..took a rest, next stop...Feringgi beach~

ok...after off day, is my first day becoming lobby ambassador~ my reaction is quite slow at the begining, maybe rest too much already....

nothing much for the first 2 days...

but now I am enjoying it...greetings every single one that walk in the lobby, sounds silly but that is part of my job...escorted few guest to room already and some of them are like my temporary friend now...haha!!! very proud that they recognise me~

first time getting tips by escorting guest to room is 10 bucks (not bad)

my second day getting tips is a shock of my life time..a couple from London, and the husband gave me 50 bucks!!!!! highest record so far....highly motivated after that, haha!!!

yesterday got 15 bucks...not bad, but I work not for money..since already no allowance, so I gave 100% without asking back anything but experience...sounds fake?? but that is me for the past 2 months plus...proud of myself!!! haha (tips is just some additional reward for my hard works)

31st Jan is JJ's 19th birthday...wanted to buy cake for him, but didnt make it..so end up treat him Feringgi's best burger and some beer~

alright...after today off, I will be working 9 days straight...even during CNY~

can I do it?? hopefully I can~ woohoooo, going to have a very very special CNY this year...

Having day off on wednesday again...time past very very fast, suddenly I left few days to finish my time in front office~(even faster compared to my time in beverage)

what I did for the past 3 days evening???

go to the beach and sit there for an hour at least...

I saw some weird thing on my off day which is a bunch of formal wear guys walking on the beach...they change to rules saying that guys cannot wear sexy sexy but girls can meh??

then I just continue stoning at the beach all by myself...very relaxing..looking at the sea~

since Batu Feringgi got only 1 road and its quite dangerous for them to speed...so mat rempit at here speed with jetski~

they wont be wearing like mat rempit while riding jetski right???

but guess what??

SEE?!!!! there are mat rempit walking at the beach!!!! (what's wrong with my day off??)

after seeing all these weird incident...back to relax myself while looking at the sea, hearing the sound of wave~

"suo wei, chang jiang hou lang tui qian lang" (it means back wave push front wave...err, it means new generation will take over older generation..or something like that la...)

ohya, 2 days ago...there are this CIMB group checking in...200++ rooms occupied by them and today I have to go work at 6am....so SYOK!!!!! start busy at 8 something..Malaysian checking out ma..sure try their best to do it last minute one....who kena?? we kena la...but our job just to tag their luggage~

when I stoning at the reception area..suddenly Front Office Manager aka Evonne called me and talk about extending my training in front office..she said "we need trainees to be lobby ambessador, and they have to be good looking and can communicate well..and I dont see the other 2 trainees are fit for FO..( she only spoke to me and another trainee) but wait a minutes..did she just said good looking?? perform well in front office...and she is talking to me..haha!!! but I answer her immediately "NO" (you guys surely think that I wil be in deep shit after that answer...)

dont worry, all the staff here are ok..even manager, she just asking my decision only...I told her my reason and bla bla bla...then she said " dont want to friend you already..." o_O

can you believe it?? my manager say that to me?? I thought only Lynn D will say it...lol

eh..Ms June was wrong...and Ms Ho is extremely WRONG!!!!!!!! front office is not as serious as what she said...or what she is doing for her whole life...

anyway, that is not the point...the point is, I dont want to extend...

so I went back to stone at reception...after awhile, I went in to the service center to pass message...suddenly Evonne laugh at me~ and said she check with HR and they already put me in FO for another month... o_O O_o 0_O

another MONTH???!!!!!!

but no longer being reception or bell boy...for the next 1 month, I will be Lobby Ambassador(spell this way??) anyway...what we will do is welcome guess...talk to guess...assist guest...

nama saje glamour...but we even serve drinks(welcome drinks ma..) aikz~

err...so the bottom line is...I will be in front office for another month~ luckily I wont be going to house keeping...so, got pros and cons la...

aikz...CNY coming..not going home, family not coming...apa jadi ni???

ever since we came here, all of my housemate's parents, family came to find them atleast once...they sent them here as well...

my case is totally different...i came here with Charles' parents...my family didnt come to penang at all and I dont think they will...and the weirdest thing is, my mom sms me instead of calling me..(cause my shift very confusing) but sometimes she called when I let her know my free time..

somehow..I really start missing them~

but yesterday, Joanna came and find me...actually like having some great time with boyfriend while "suin bin" come find me..hahaa

joking la..really happy when finally someone that really close to me come to find me...although just a short while, but I am happy with it...and she is leaving to India soon~ "must take care a..."

dont know when only can see her again...surely will miss her~ (miss bullying her nonstop..haha)

should I start crying now?? haha..NEH!!!!! (but just have that weird feeling inside)

O.F.F. day~

front office is quite fun sometimes...but still not as fun as in beverage..

everyone can joke here and they are crazy, especially those senior permanent staff...they are crazy!!!

been to bell service for 4 days...and got RM20 ++ tips per day..in total 80+++

not bad huh?? unfortunately only for 4 days...just imagine if i work there for 1 month?? it is equal to my salary!!!! ( I got no salary during this training...)

first day bell service uniform...very comfortable~ because need to carry luggages...

very windy on my first day in bell service...very nice cause windy throughout the whole day...and the bell captain allowed me to go home 2 hours earlier since there is nothing much for me to do...

so I went to the beach and this is what I saw...

strong waves for whole day and they stop all the water sport activities....(signs of tsunami again...) but everything back to normal on the next day...

the late sunset....no water sports and not many people dare to go near to the sea~

on the next day..its all back to normal and the crowd is back~ ( trying to include human in my pic as well to create that nice contrast or whatever....)

as I said...water sports are back~

and the sea water level is moving up...as the full moon is back~

and on monday, me , jin and charles went down to Gurney to have dinner and take a walk~

after "locking" ourselve in Batu Feringgi...finally we have the chance to taste some fantastic local food again!!!!

after the "shopping"..we went to Batu Feringgi night market (our only hang out place here)..me and charles bought something crazy...

with total of 66 songs!!!!! this can "dung qiang" until I give out ang pau...haha

back on Sunday when we were having dinner...felt warmth when 4th uncle, auntie and cousin Corey talk to me in the phone..(they were having dinner together with my mom and other relatives) Corey will be going back to Australia this friday..so will only see her again sometimes later...

I wanted to go back KL..but somehow, I dont feel like going back as well...weird!!

the next morning is just so great...we played football and have some real chinese breakfast, half boiled egg, yin yang toast(kaya and butter) with Kopi~
