day off...

previous post was done in a rush due to I have to snap some pic at the beach~

unfortunately nothing much to snap...only got a few

listening the sound of wave make me calm and relax...though the water is not that clear~

due to the activities around here where some illegal people trying to earn money, the beach is no longer having nice smooth sand but holes everywhere, tracks everywhere...[holes made by horses and tracks made by 4 wheels bike(forgotten what is that thing called)]

seriously I found it very difficult to walk along the beach...you will surely go up and down in order to get to your destination.

time past very fast, and 4 days later it will be 2008!!! I will be spending my first minute of 2008 by preparing drinks or throwing rubbish or just stone there and smile to everyone I meet.

seriously, Batu Feringgi got NOTHING TO EAT!!!!!!

can you believe it that a roti canai can sold at the price of RM6 in a normal food court?? OMG!!!

I kind of like here now, and I kind of liking the working part...no study but working.Ohya, talks about those food in cafeteria...Christmas day is the most special 1 I've ever seen.

before this we have chicken rice, asam laksa..bla bla bla...

but on christmas day, we have french fries, potato salad, prawns and bla bla bla ..but the best is, we have connetto cone ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! unfortunately I am too full for it~damn!!!

now looking forward for new year day!!!(slight motivation to make me go work everyday)

other motivation is meet new people..build up the courage to talk to stranger...smile to whoever I met and greet every single one...(I am still improving~)

will be bringing my camera to work starts from now..dont want to miss a single thing over there~hopefully no raining today and I can get some nice shots after working...

ohya, Man United beat Everton 2-1 on Saturday, thanks to Ronaldo..and beat Sunderland 4-0 on boxing day...somehow Arsenal drew..and now Man United is on top of the league!! yeah!!!!

new year new wishes...

just hope that everyone wil be happy always, enjoy their life and live a healthy life...lastly, World Peace..

2008, here I come!!!!

blue Christmas!!!!

phew..5 days straight buffet dinner (fri, sat and sun is normal buffet as usual while mon and tues is Christmas buffet)~ beside busy..there is only busier and busiest~

working in the bar in not fun at all, but I am enjoying every minute of it...

a clearer view of my working place...(that person is Jin and he just kepoh walk inside)

the resident band performing on the stage...more lively then the carol choir~

the keyboard player and 1 of the singer is the usual performer...another 1 I dont know her..(they sing very well and powerful and the keyboard players is very talented..)

when the band taking a break, the audio system played the ang mo's favorite song...Y.M.C.A. and immediately those international guest get out from their table and start dancing...(I laugh non-stop but seeing them enjoying the song so much, I also happy)

I bring camera to work for this few days, but unfortunately raining all the time...so cant get any nice pic~aikz!!!

but the best thing being a bartender for this 2 weeks was 1 of the guest gave me 10bucks tips twice!!!!!! the most tips I've ever get, unfortunately he check out today...haha

nothing much..just plain tired~

there is no photos on my last post..but there are some this time. Managed to throw them in my pen drive and bring it down to CC...

don't feel like onlining all the time..therefore, no streamyx application was done by us till now..

can't online..do what when free?? play games la..despite all of us can stone in front of computer for hours!!!!

the place where i will be spending 8 hours a day for the next 5 months...(except day off)

it has been 1 week since I stayed at Batu Feringgi and worked for about 1 week as well...

JJ and i are in the beverage department...not sending beverage to outlet, but working in outlet's bar!!!!

this hopistal look alike building is a resort..haha ( 1 of our trainer told us during orientation)

we took a walk to the beach at the first day when we just reach Batu Feringgi~ (nothing special also)

back to the working part...for the next 1 month, I will be working at Sigi's bar..same outlet as Jin, but different department.

this is the outlet~ it is a texas mexican restaurant where friday, saturday and sunday buffet will be served. other days are a'la carte menu...open from 6pm to 12am

this is my working place..when got order, I will be very busy..but when there are no order, I will stone and look around. But luckily the bar is in between 2 TVs with Astro.

I gone through 1 of the most suffering day in my life...last sunday, Super Sunday.

9.30pm, Liverpool vs Man United. The bar was filled with peoples until no place to sit and they just stand there and watch the match. But me, as a Man United's fan..I AM WORKING!!!!

the worst thing is, I cant shout like the guest did when Tevez scored the winning goal at the first half. ( really suffering~) ok...Man United won 1-0~ woohooo!!!!!! (I celebrated few hours later when I reach home..haha)

anyway, I know how to make several cocktails already~ like AK-47, Frozen Black Irish, Long Island Ice Tea, Magarita...bla bla bla~ I got the whole recipe but managed to make a few only...cause not many guest ordered cocktail..BEER BEER BEER all the time.

the bar starts operation from 6pm to 12.30am..with 40% discount for most of the beverages here...(happy hour ma~)

remember I said that I cant see any sunrise or sunset from my apartment?? (aiya, lazy to link up la..just scroll down and recap la..)

oh well, I was wrong. I can actually catch the sunset from my apartment, but not a perfect view...

heavy rain yesterday...(I having day off with Jin, so we stone at home and play computer games..)

after the heavy rain..we went out and take a walk at the beach (sounds gay...eeeewwww) and got some pic of our working place...

I am doing fine here but just everyday will end with backache and legache...but I am enjoying every single day working at the bar~ everyone here is friendly, my captain, supervisor, permanent staff, even the trainee from Indon taught me alot as well..

2008, here I COME!!!!! but wait...damn!!! been told that from DEC 20 until Jan 2 will be extremely busy, especially the 2 eve that we are about to celebrate..

ohya, there will be a huge beach party at Golden Sand..free entrance is what I heard from my senior..woohoooo~ I will be working my ass out to end my year 2007...

first few days...

alright, it has been nearly 5 days here in Penang...kind of settle down already~

staying right across Golden Sand Resort...easy for working but difficult to get to the town..example: GURNEY!!!!!

arrived Ipoh for breakfast..Thanks to Charles' parents..

then go to Penang and head to our apartment...

bla bla bla...we reached at afternoon, followed by Jin then JJ and lastly, Chin Yi ( she reached about 7+++++++++++++++++++++pm) by the time she reach, I already playing computer game..haha

Charles' parents brought me,JJ and Charlesto Gurney and have dinner, we tried the famous ROJAK!!!!!! while Jin have dinner with his parents..

after dinner, take a walk along Feringgi road...bought ManUnited latest home jersey for only RM35!!!! woohoooo~ ( and Man United won 4-1 against Derby that night)

next day we just stone around and settle ourself...

Monday is the big day..woke up at 6.30am~( OMG!!!! we stay at the wrong place!!!! not that we move in to wrong apartment, just the location is not good for me where we cant see sunset nor sunrise from my place!!! damn~)

thought that will be working straight away, but end up having 3 days orientation...

telling us what Shangri-La is all about and bla bla bla...guess what?? me, JJ and Jin is the only chinese in the new trainees group..while others are from UITM and some other college called Keris, if not mistaken. Which means that all are malays..but they are friendly..

good news is they provide meals to us, even when we are having day off, we can still go back and have our meal..can save money!!! woohooo~(but will get bored very fast)

today, we finally got our so called schedule. Me and JJ will be working under beverage department for 1 month. While Jin will be in Sigi (a texas mexican semi fine dining restaurant)

we got our locker too!!! I will start working tomorrow at 5pm..going to get my uniform as well~ wish me LUCK!!!!

oh well...nothing much already, will update about what is going on in Penang soon. Probably 1 week once~

anyway, miss all of you out there and I am doing fine here~

5th December 2007, March 2006 intake finished their semester 5 final exam and we have decided to have a party at Brandon's place.

it was not a good start for a BBQ party...

drizzling for quite sometimes..but they never give up on those chicken wings

especially him!! haha. Kok Foong will be in kitchen for the next 5 months and he is practicing all the time.

then the drizzling is gone...and we went out again~

us guys just like to join girl's conversation..(we are learning for our future)

then we have new advertisement for coke...(Jin and Lynn D)

here are the girls of the night..(1 out of position and 2 crazy 1 at the back with the paper plate)

these 3 will be going to China as receptionist with Shao Chian(absent)...we have been calling then China Girl for quite sometimes (Sher Yee, Geraldine and Siew Peng)

these 3 girls been abandoned by Siew Peng because she is going to China...haha (Stephanie, Tania and Chin Yi)

Kyungmi will be going back to Korea after more then 3 years..(she live in Malaysia for about 6 years and she can speak fluent mandarin!!!)

the girls that closest to me...still got 1 more Tania the hobbit~

then we celebrated 2 girl's birthday...

that night was not their birthday...Chin Yi's on the 7th and Lynn D's on the 2nd..

okay..this part onwards is me and the girls(haha)

after the party end..few of us went to play basketball and yum cha until 4.30am..sleep at 5.30am (crazy!!!!)
