genting trip part 1

11 Aug 2007(Saturday) , clear sunny day : as planned, I will meet Jin, desmond and Foong at Pudu Raya. I took my own sweet time but still manage to reach earlier then those 3 dudes...haiz, time management failed!!! haha

went to 7-11 grab some snacks and maggi cups and meet those dudes on my way back to bus station.(they just reach after I spent almost 15 minutes choosing snacks)

thats Jin and me in the bus before it departed...

and here is Foong and Desmond with some of our snacks..

the bus departed at 10.30 am sharp as been stated in the tickets(surprisingly it happen in Malaysia)

we took a nap while the bus leaving KL.It took about 20 minutes to reach the bottom of mountain..then we go all the way up..

what we saw is trees,trees and more trees...and also mist(more and more as we go higher)

on the way up..something catch my eyes...
it makes me laugh for no reason..I know why they named it as Gohtong Jaya, but it just doesn't match...

it took us about 1 hour to reach the cable car station..they called it sky way(canggih abit)
but before we saw any cable car, another road sign catch my eyes...

Batang Kali( stick and times in malay)...if there is Batang Kali 6, it will be perfect for our trip..haha (if you know what I mean)

we step in and what we saw is crowd...cause it is Saturday, gamblers and tourists like to gather at Genting in weekend.

it seems like a lot of people..but it only took us about 15 minutes to get into a cable car..because the queue is moving non-stop...

this sign board don't tells lie...all of this happen because of we are going to sit in the fastest cable car in the world and the longest in south east Asia!!!!

we are going higher!!!!

and higher!!!! what we can see is just trees and trees and trees...and mist again!!!!

while enjoyingthe view of rain forest..we took a snap~

the mist is getting heavier and heavier...we cant really see what is infront or behind of us

after about 20 minutes..we finally arrive at Genting!!! safely ofcourse..haha

then from Highland Hotel..we need to walk over to Resort Hotel to meet up with JJ and Charles.
first time we feel the coolness of Genting after dont know how many years.

after checked in and settle down..my instinct told me that is time to have our lunch and we chose to have it at Burger King..
after that we decided to have some fun~
first thing we did is went for arcade..

they have this arcade credit card which cost rm15..rm10 as playing credit while rm5 as deposit,they are clever!!!

all of us do enjoy those arcade games...haha,most of us did car racing and shooting games...

when I left rm1 in my credit, I played one of the dumbness game in the arcade...

and I got 13 coupons out of a sudden...haha( I played Flinstone pairing game)

after some money costly entertainments..we decided to head back to our room to have some big money spending game but under budget entertainment...

yes..it is MONOPOLY time!!! luckily Jin brought it over..haha
the game started quite okay..but we are too serious with this

we negotiated and offered our best to get the lands we wanted..

we even have an owing list...highest record was nearly 2k

JJ is the most unlucky guy in this game..he drop on GO TO JAIL for 5 times and eventually he is the first to bankrupt!!!

and the winner is......
DESMOND!!!! he bought over all the expensive lands and built hotels...he makes JJ bankrupt!!!

after the game end..we all get ourself ready for dinner!!! we have our dinner at foodcourt...but some of the price are killing us!!!

this kim-chee sweat salty sauce chicken rice coast rm11.90!!! after have our dinner, most of us still feel hungry...
then while walking..we stop by to say hi to our old friend...

uncle Ronald..still with the big smile on his face..wonder will he get tired or not..

then I found my long lost dinosaur outside McD..back in small kid world!!! woohoooo

after walking in the building..we decided to go out to have some fresh air..and we found 3 big rocks opposite the road..

first posing didn't really turn out well..only Desmond did it right

then some professional demonstrate how to post on big rocks~(photographer forgot to on flash)

and I start dreaming...one day I will take over this place(haha, pure dream)
after some lame posing on the rocks..we head back inside the building and continue our costly entertainment...

rm10.oo per tickets..cheaper then Sunway Pyramid!!! but at this stage, it still consider as costly for us..
for the first time we watch movie at a theater with a stage infront of the screen..haha
Rush Hour 3 is a comedy to me..although it suppose to be an action movie, but Cris Tucker is damn funny in it...

after movie, we walk all the way down to First World Hotel..the largest hotel in the world with up to 6000++ rooms!!!
trying to plug the coconuts off from that neon lights coconut tree..haha
after chilling outside with that cool weather..is time for some man's entertainment..
4 of us went to Sport Book to watch football!!! EPL is back!!!! EPL is back!!! while Des and Foong(non football's fan) went back room and sleep...

once we found our seats..one super hot waitress came over and asked us what to order. Straight away we said beer..3 carlsberg and 1 orange juice (Charles can't drink..haha)

when the beverages came..she ask for the payment and all of us were shocked with the amount we need to pay. RM 72.95!!!!!! But since she is hot, so we have to act calm and just pay the bill...after that, we look at the receipt, these 3 damn bottles of beer cost us rm65.55!!!!!

our wallet got another big hole after that incident..and started our budget planning~
anyway, Liverpool won Aston Villa by 2-1...a heart pumping match..

it ends at 2am...and we headed back to our room and sleep..there goes our first day in Genting
